My name is John Harper – let me explain a bit about the “What, Why and How” of my photographic interests…Simply put, I enjoy photography the way a painter, dancer or guitarist enjoys their art – as a method of creativity, not profit.
My current interest in photography is in portraying people in ways not normally associated with a straight-up portrait.
Photo studios are everywhere and they pump out images that are generic and mass-produced. I seek to produce something unique.
If you model for me, what’s in it for you?
An atypical series of images from the theme of our shoot. Are you putting together a portfolio? Do you just want pictures of yourself that differ from what you’d get from a photo studio? Here I am.
Your time for mine; you get your images, I get the sense of satisfaction that comes from bringing an image in my imagination out into the Real World.
